Settings
All preferences in one place
The Settings window is divided into three panels. The left panel shows a live technical dashboard with app and system metadata. The centre panel contains all preferences. The right panel has support links and the app trademark identity.

AI Engine — Claude
Enter your Anthropic API key to use Claude for AI-generated chapter summaries and the brIΛn tab. When a key is set, Claude is used in preference to Ollama. Keys are stored securely on your Mac.
AI Engine — Ollama
Ollama runs AI models locally on your Mac with no API costs. Install Ollama, pull a model (recommended: mistral:latest), and click Refresh to connect. The status indicator shows whether Ollama is running and lists available models.
Advanced — Book Reader
- Enrich book text with interactive links — detects Bible references and proper nouns in EPUB books and makes them tappable. May slow page loading on large books.
- Pre-process books for faster re-reading — processes pages on first visit and caches results. Subsequent visits are faster but first visits take longer.
Reset to Defaults
A Reset to Defaults button sits in the bottom of the left metadata panel. Clicking it restores all appearance and behaviour settings to their original values. Your API key, folder paths, and module selections are not affected.
