Reading plan and daily devotional

Overview

The Time Alone tab is your quiet reading space. It combines your daily reading plan passage with the day's devotional entry. It opens automatically to today when you tap Read → from the ToDo tab, or by tapping the Time Alone tab directly.

Reading plan

The reading plan panel at the top shows the Bible passage assigned to today's date from your selected reading plan module. Tap any verse to navigate the Desk tab to that passage.

Devotional

Below the reading plan, the devotional section shows today's devotional entry from your chosen devotional module.

Module pickers

Pickers in each section's header let you choose which reading plan and which devotional module to use. Installed modules appear in their respective pickers automatically.

Day navigation

Use the ‹ and › arrows to move between days. The centre button shows the current day and returns to today when tapped.

Devotionals are numbered by day (Day 1–365) rather than by calendar date. Day 1 corresponds to 1st January.

Scripture references within devotional text are tappable links. Tapping one navigates the Desk tab Bible panel to that passage — the Time Alone tab remains visible so you can read both together.

Installing modules

Copy devotional SQLite files (those containing a devotions table) into your modules folder and refresh the Modules tab. They appear automatically in the devotional picker. Reading plan modules are similarly detected and added to the reading plan picker.
